Our speakers
Tracey Marsden, Partner, CMS
Tracey is a partner in the CMS employment team with 28 years' experience advising on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious matters from general advisory support and employment litigation to complex global restructuring, business transfers and multi-jurisdictional mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions.
Tracey has expertise in advising on strategic HR issues and project management, particularly in the context of private equity transactions and founder/senior management misconduct, workforce restructuring and change management, complex business transfers and outsourcing arrangements.
Tracey is the head of the One North Charity Committee and co-leads on the Sheffield office’s CMS Women initiative. She is also a ‘Leading Individual’ in Legal 500.
Emma Sweetman, Senior Associate, CMS
Emma is a Senior Associate in the employment team whose practice involves advising on a broad spectrum of employment-related issues, including general day-to-day HR advice and employment tribunal litigation and supporting the firm’s corporate, real estate and insolvency teams in relation to a range of transactional matters.
Emma regularly works with overseas counsel to co-ordinate advice on complex, multi-jurisdictional projects and issues. Her experience spans many sectors, with a particular focus on private equity, healthcare, real estate and construction. She works with all sizes of clients from start-ups to global organisations.
Emma sits on the One North Charity Committee and co-leads on the Sheffield office’s ‘CMS Link’ networking group. She is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
Amelia Goodair, Associate, CMS
Amelia is an Associate in the employment team and joined CMS in 2022 after qualifying into employment in 2021 at a regional firm. She advises employers and senior employees on a wide range of general advisory and contentious matters, and on employment aspects of corporate transactions.
Her experience covers many different sectors, including healthcare, energy, manufacturing, and technology. Amelia is a member of the One North Diversity and Inclusion Group, and of the Employment Lawyers Association.
